The EU/EV/EW prefixes sit right on Moscow’s doorstep — Belarus is often the very first "another country" a new Russian operator ever logs. The republic inherited the full Soviet radiosport school, including high-speed telegraphy, a discipline in which Belarusian operators have taken world championship medals.
