Bulgaria’s LZ stations are famous for CW: the country kept high-speed telegraphy as a competitive sport long after most of Europe let it fade, and Bulgarian operators regularly medal at HST world championships. Mountain club stations in the Rila and Rhodope ranges give LZ signals a head start toward Moscow.
