Czech amateurs inherited the OK prefix from interwar Czechoslovakia, a country that punched far above its weight in radio engineering — Tesla Pardubice equipment served half the socialist world. The Czech Radio Club continues a strong homebrew and QRP culture, and OK stations remain some of the most active in Central Europe.
