Amateur radio here

The NRRL was founded in 1928, and Norwegian amateurs have polar radio in their blood: LA callsigns turn up from Svalbard (as JW) and from Antarctic stations, keeping the tradition of expedition radio that started with Amundsen’s era alive. Fjord terrain makes HF paths tricky — which Norwegians treat as a sporting challenge.

National society: NRRL (Norsk Radio Relæ Liga), 1928

No LA-LN in my logbook yet. This page is waiting — if that is your prefix and you hear a weak UB3BIJ calling, please come back to me. 1-5 W QRP needs friendly ears.
