Switzerland’s USKA was founded in 1929, and Geneva hosts the ITU — the International Telecommunication Union, the body that gives amateurs their bands in the first place. The ITU’s own club station, 4U1ITU, counts as a separate DXCC entity and sits right there in Geneva. Mountains make HB9 signals hop strangely; Swiss operators are used to it.
